Oak Leaf Ornaments by María Poyato

These little hand built ceramic oak leaves by María Poyato make lovely decorations.

They measure 3.5cm x 6.5cm and are hung by a piece of natural twine, giving any space a magical earthy aesthetic.

María Poyato is an Edinburgh based artist. She gets inspiration from surrounding landscapes, nostalgic feelings and elements from nature that have lived and endured a long time. Like fossils, rocks, shells, footprints, etc. She experiments with earthy colours, textures and found objects, specially from the forest and the sea. Her work has a certain rustic, homely and not-perfect feel, with a cute witchy and fairy touch.
