Learn how to make a custom broom from scratch, and leave with a memorable, hands-on experience.

How does it work?

  1. Select your favourite handle. Handles are natural hazel or polished chestnut, and come in small, medium or large.
  2. Choose a bundle of natural broom corn.
  3. Choose your flowers and charm.
  4. Gather extra embellishments. For an additional cost, you can add extra accessories such as leather, pendants, bones, crystals, charms, colour splash bundles, and more.
  5. Come on over to our broom making station for instruction and guidance by our knowledgeable staff.

Details:

  • Workshops are one hour long.
  • Your broom size may vary slightly, but on average small brooms are 54cm/22", Mediums are 78cm/31", and Larges 130cm/52". If you are visiting from afar, do measure your luggage before you book your workshop to make sure your chosen broom will fit inside.

Looking forward to crafting with you!

  • We do not currently have the flexibility to move workshop times. However, groups of 4-5 people may be able to book a private workshop: contact info@wheeloffate.co.uk for availability and info!

See full Workshop Policies here before booking, but please note especially:

  • Our workshops are for adults 18+, but a crafter aged 13-17 may participate if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian who has also purchased a ticket.
  • Only people who have booked a workshop can attend our classes. We won't be able to accommodate anyone just there to watch, but there are lots of lovely shops and cafes nearby where you can wait for your friends or family!
  • Two or more people cannot share a broom, book, or other craft, as space and materials are limited.
