These vole skull terrariums are the perfect addition to any oddity collection! Vole skulls, collected ethically from owl pellets, rest on a small bed of moss, nestled between mushrooms and/or plants foraged from the forests of Scotland.
These terrariums are made by Xanthe Kittson. Xanthe is a published photographer and artist from Vancouver, Canada living in Scotland. She specializes in fantasy inspired photography and works with a wide range of other mediums such as printmaking, taxidermy, and jewellery making. Xanthe takes most of her inspiration from classical paintings found in the Baroque and Victorian eras as well as Greek mythology.
